Statement of Purpose

Purpose Communications works with clients from wide-ranging industries and across global markets. As advocates for our clients, we recognize that every commitment comes with its own set of opportunities and challenges. We stand by our belief that clients who are committed to fact-based, honest, and transparent communications are always deserving of representation. 

When it comes to managing our portfolio, our business strategy, and our interaction with clients, we have always made informed decisions that are consistent with our values. Prior to signing on any new agreement, we always make sure to evaluate every potential engagement for possible ethical, commercial, reputational, or legal consequences.  

At Purpose Communications, we respect and welcome the diversity of our employees, our clients, and the community that we serve. We also recognize the importance of matching the right people to the right accounts, and that not every professional is suited to work on every account, and vice versa. As such, we support our employees’ right to opt out of working on a project or task that does not line up with his or her personal beliefs. On principle, Purpose Communications will not engage in business with any entity whose actions or corporate values are not consistent with our own.  

As a communications agency, our job is to help clients find their voice and tell their story with honor and integrity, in a way that will advance their interests. We are firm believers in the right to freedom of expression. That means, independent, opposing views deserve to be heard, and we take our role as advocates for our clients seriously. This does not mean that we condone our clients’ actions nor does it imply support for every position they may adopt. It does, however, mean that we are committed to supporting their right to express their views. At the same time, we also reserve the right to express our own views and adopt our own positions that may be in direct contrast to those of some of our clients.
