The 1st Italy–Cyprus Business Round Table brought together senior government officials, diplomatic and institutional representatives, and business leaders from Italy and Cyprus for a high-level dialogue focused on strengthening economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.
Held in Limassol on 27 May 2026, the event was promoted by the Embassy of Italy in Nicosia in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA/ICE), the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Invest Cyprus and the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce. Discussions focused on strategic areas of bilateral cooperation, including energy and infrastructure, maritime and port development, industrial technologies, finance and investment, logistics and commercial partnerships.
Among the participants was Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, alongside the Ambassador of Italy to Cyprus, Antonella Cavallari, senior representatives from government and institutions, and members of the Italian and Cypriot business communities.
Purpose Communications worked closely with the Italian Trade Agency to manage the local production and operational delivery of the Round Table. With 19 international speakers, more than 100 participants and high-level government and diplomatic representation, the event required detailed coordination across technical production, simultaneous interpretation, venue requirements, branding, hospitality and content capture.
Purpose coordinated the different suppliers and production elements required to deliver a professional and smoothly managed event, providing continuous on-site supervision from final setup through completion. The Round Table created a focused platform for business dialogue, networking and the development of stronger connections between Italian and Cypriot stakeholders.

Event Coordination & Production Planning: Purpose Communications worked closely with the Italian Trade Agency to coordinate the local production requirements for the 1st Italy–Cyprus Business Round Table. The team developed and managed the operational timeline, coordinated suppliers and venue requirements, and ensured that the different elements of the event were aligned ahead of the arrival of speakers and participants. Planning reflected the profile of the event and the participation of senior government officials, ambassadors, institutional representatives and international business leaders. With multiple stakeholders involved, Purpose served as a central point of coordination for the local delivery, maintaining oversight of timings, suppliers and event requirements throughout the preparation process.
Audiovisual Production & Interpretation: The participation of 19 international speakers placed significant importance on reliable audiovisual production and simultaneous interpretation. Purpose coordinated the technical suppliers, audiovisual setup and interpretation requirements needed to support the programme and allow participants from both countries to engage effectively with the discussions. The team supervised the technical setup before the event and maintained close coordination with suppliers throughout the programme, helping ensure presentations, speaker interventions and discussions proceeded smoothly and according to schedule.
Venue Experience, Hospitality & Content: Purpose coordinated event branding, venue setup and catering arrangements to create a professional environment appropriate for a high-level international business gathering. Each operational element was managed as part of one coordinated event experience, from final preparation of the venue through guest hospitality and programme delivery. Photography and videography were also coordinated throughout the Round Table to capture speeches, discussions, networking and key moments involving government, institutional and business representatives. The resulting content supported post-event communication and extended the visibility of the event beyond the day itself.
